Road trip - NJ documentary photographe
One of my goals this year is to be a bit more adventurous and follow my wanderlust. I've been hesitant to travel because I have two small children, who I love dearly, but who also pose challenges when it comes to things such as eating and sleeping and sitting for long periods of time within arm's reach of each other.
This past weekend I said to my fears and concerns, "To heck with you, fears and concerns! I'm taking the girls on a road trip." We visited my sister and niece, who live about three and a half hours away when driving in no traffic. In no traffic.
It took us five hours to get there. Of course, eating and sleeping were a nightmare, but it all paid off to witness the cousins reunited, and to say to my fears and concerns, "Yes, fears and concerns, you were warranted, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat."
